The Counter founder Jeff Weinstein is expanding and downsizing at the same time. What? He's launching a fast casual streamlined version of his now widespread custom built burger chain under the moniker Built [Custom Burgers] which, according to Grub Street, will debut in a couple weeks near USC on Figueroa. Think quick serve burgers, smaller in size (about a quarter-pound each), at a lower price point. Of course this does sound similar to U-Mini in Westwood.
